Anatomicals Social Media Strategy
Background: Based on the UK Anatomicals brand, the Indian Anatomicals aims to cater to the same demographic (18-35 years). The brand’s slogan ‘we only want you for your body’ reflects their mission to be a diverse and inclusive brand that wants people to love their bodies, no matter what shape or size they are. The packaging content and design reflect the likes of their target demographic (bright colors combined with witty phrases)
Objectives: Create a social media plan for upcoming months that incorporates the bright colors and witty phrases that have been used in the packaging. The aim is to reach out to the target demographic through topical-themed posts, ingredient spotlights, interactive posts and so on. The focus should be to use illustration-based concepts along with pop culture references that will appeal to the target demographic.
Deliverables: A consistent social media strategy every month, with a good mix of images, carousels and interactive reels.
Results: With the help of our in-house graphic designer, we were able to come up with a new design and content language for Anatomicals. We focused on easy-to-read but interactive posts that would prompt the audience to either tag someone in the comments or comment on the relatability of the posts. We also mixed product posts into the design grid (for Instagram) to ensure that customers would be reminded that we sell items that would be beneficial for them to add to their self-care routine.
